NSBSG Hosts Fourth Speaker in Environmental Series
North Vancouver, BC - April, 2008 - the North Shore's premier small business group, the North Shore Business Success Group (NSBSG) is pleased to announce that Mr. Peter Robinson, recently installed Executive Director of the David Suzuki Foundation, will speak at a special installment of the Group's weekly networking breakfast on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, to be held at the Hollyburn Club in West Vancouver.
Mr. Robinson will call on his considerable business talents as former CEO of Mountain Equipment Coop to outline to our audience how business must change with the onset of global warming and how this should be looked upon not as an impediment to commerce but as a distinct opportunity.
This event follows on the heels of previous successful NSBSG-hosted events focusing on the very timely topic of 'environment and sustainability'. Ex-BC Premier Mike Harcourt presented his highly relevant talk on urban sustainability, "Our Planet: Four Billion by 2050", on Wednesday, March 5, 2008.
David Swan, CEO of Core Bumpers spoke on Wednesday November 28, 2007 on his rapidly-growing enterprise of recycling damaged auto bumpers for profitable and sustainable reuse.
